The king penguin is the largest breeding penguin on the Falkland Islands, and the main colony is located at Volunteer Point. I was there on a day trip from Stanley and was fortunate to spend about four hours among these majestic penguins. This cheerful penguin had just returned from the sea as I was lying on the beach with my camera.
