On Lake Kerkini in northern Greece, it is possible to get remarkably close to the impressive Dalmatian pelicans. They often drift alongside the boat, hoping for a fish or two. To capture this image, I leaned over the side of the boat and lowered the camera to the water’s surface. The use of a wide-angle lens creates an unusual and engaging perspective.
