Every winter, I spend time photographing White-throated Dippers. I often sit in the cold water for hours wearing my waders to get to eye level with this stunning little bird. Once, I experimented with a slow shutter speed to smooth out the water, creating a beautiful blurred effect while still keeping the dipper sharp.
