ICELAND

Many people travel to Iceland in spring and summer to explore the amazing birdlife not least the adorable Atlantic Puffin that nest on cliffs in various parts of the country. One of the best locations is the small and remote island of Grimsey in the north situated on the Arctic Circle. During summer more than 2 million birds are nesting on the island making it a heaven for bird photographers. Images in this gallery is from my four days on Grimsey by the end of June 2024.
