On safari, you spend many hours photographing wildlife on the savannah. However, it is also possible to capture wonderful images at the camp, such as this portrait of a vervet monkey. It was sitting close to our tent at Karen Blixen Camp in the Mara North Conservancy, and I quickly grabbed my camera fitted with a 500mm prime lens to capture this close-up portrait.
