In a private nature reserve in Costa Rica, I got the opportunity to photograph this Broad-billed Motmot. As they mainly feed on insects and do not consume fruits it is not possible to get them attracted to feeders. Thus, you have to find the bird inside the forest. I was extremely fortunate to see this one sitting nicely on a branch for a few minutes.
